I did it, I slipped W1D3 in today. I was planning on taking a break, but my legs felt fine. I am onto week two now!

So okay, I did it. I started the program. I did my first cycle of 20 minutes. Then I joined this group. I really want to be able to run 5 k!

Hey there, I ma new here. I am just starting to get into the exercise groove but I would like to do that much needed cardio to lose the extra flab. I like running but I need motivation to get into it. I am hoping that this group will help.

For those of you looking for a great podcast with vocal cues for each week, try out Suz's podcasts at kissmyblackass.org.
She mixes awesome hip hop playlists and adds the cues so you know when to run, when to walk, etc.

Just did my first 5k (since highschool) finished in 39min. - I was hoping for 36 but, I'll just have to stay with the training...

Hi everyone... I started this program at the beginning of the summer and it was going great... then I went on a couple of trips and got out of the routine... I was up to week 5... now I just seem to be stuck... should I start over? It's getting frustrating!! and to top it off, I have an awful shin splint in my left leg... I hate not pushing myself right now, but, feel like its hurting my leg... any suggestions?

Is anyone doing any podcasts to help with your c25k? I found one but am wondering if there are any out there with what kind of music.

I just started today. I did D1W1 today. I found that the running pace was more like a brisk walk for me. My sister was with me and she had to run, she's 3" shorter than me. I guess longer legs matter. I tried to jog to the pace, but found myself struggling to jog slow enough, so I just walked briskly. Hopefully I can get day 2 in on Monday night or morning.

Week 5 days 1 and 2 complete! 20 minute run on Sunday...here I come!
