I originally started this question in my blog, but I thought it could be something interesting to use as a discussion question.
I've really been focusing on getting prepared because I know that will help me feel less stressed. This is important because stress is what causes me to mess up on the eating front. I've also been giving myself a lot of talks about what I'm going to do when stress happens. I'm glad that I realized the problem and am working on fixing it. So I want to turn the question to you. What messes you up? And how are you going to keep it from affecting you? I'll put my answer below.
1. Stress messes me up.
2. A Two Part Plan!! (I know, how nerdy!)
A. Prevent stress by being prepared and staying ahead.
-Prepare meals ahead.
-Stay one nine weeks ahead as far as lesson plans, tests, and worksheets. ( I don't know how long this will
last, but I can dream!)
B. Deal with stress in other ways than food like taking a bath, going shopping, or eating a healthy meal.
