Why are weekends so hard?

I keep sabotaging all the hard work and healthiness I accomplish all week. Between trips and visits and just going out too much, I can't seem to actually make any headway with my weight loss.

Does anyone have any tips for staying on track on the weekends??

I wish I had the answer to this one! I try not to beat myself up over weekend slipups because I know Monday I get right back on track. When it comes to socializing, I try to limit the number of food-related things I do. Sometimes my friends are big on getting together with food as the central focus, but sometimes it's fun to do something different that doesn't involve eating. One other thing I've tried is to make Monday my check-in day in terms of making sure I weigh myself and just generally judging how I've been feeling. That can be motivation to stay on track during the weekends.

I totally know how you feel, It was my birthday this weekend and I totally blew it...but traveling on the weekends and such gets hard. I went to a meeting with another girl that goes to school...she said for instance for every beer you have...you have 2-3 servings of water..for every chicken wing you have you have 3 pieces of celery.

I track online mostly, but on the weekends I hand write it or do an excel sheet on my Palm Treo. If you make the time to write it down you'll be more conscious, I always have 2 trackers in my purse.

hope this helps!
