(Granted, I just started this dieting thing on Monday, so it's only a 2-day view and not from a whole week, and probably just a fluctuation, but I'll take what I can get!)
I have been doing WW on my own for about a month now, and have lost about 4-6 lbs. I need to get a new scale. It fluctuates depending on where I put it. Stepped on it this morning and I was up 3 lbs from my weigh-in on Monday (I told Cintia that is not possible cause I have not consumed an extra 10,000 calories in the past two days?! must be the scale or water weight or my Monday WI was wrong)...so I need to get a new scale and figure out my "real" weight!
I will be able to report a more "official" weight next week!
That is so great Cindy! Today is my WI day, but I had chinese last night and a friend visited for the weekend, so I am going to "weight" until Wednesday :~)
Yeah, congrats Cindy! I posted on another thread, but I jumped on the scale this morning to see how I've been doing this week...and I gained weight. Grrrrr!!! It's got me kind of down, but all I can do is keep trying instead of reverting back to my bad habits.
My week 2 weigh-in...unsuccessful. I'm going to buy a new scale today and I'll weigh myself again tomorrow morning and post then. I got on the scale this morning and got 5 VERY different numbers all 5 times. My scale sucks. :-p
I weighed in yesterday and I am down another pound, for a total of 24 lbs. My goals is to lose 25 lbs by the end of September, so I think I will accomplish that goal!
Jimmie, I am having a scale crisis too--registers all different numbers--I try to keep it at the same exact spot every week, but I don't think that is working. Let me know if you find a good replacement!
I bought a Homedics analog scale for $20 at Bed Bath & Beyond. It's not fancy by any means, but I figured I'd have more consistent results with analog vs. digital. All those fancy digital scales...I stepped on almost every one of them in the store and they all read different numbers. The analog scale registered right about where I thought it should be (and no, it wasn't the lowest number!). :-)
Anyway, I'll post "official" weigh in results tomorrow.
Well, I am up 2.6 pounds from last week (that 6.2-lb loss was indeed a fluke!), but that's a total weight loss of 3.6 pounds in just a little over week.
I lost 6.0 lbs this week for a total loss of 9.6 pounds in ~ 2 weeks. I'm attributing it to getting my butt in the gym almost every day last week (and trying out Zumba for the first time!).
Christine, way to keep at it. I always hate how my weight fluctuates around that time of the month...bah!
