Blog to Lose

No matter the plan... we all Blog to Lose!

Lou

Oz never gave nothing to the Tinman, that he didn't already have...

I am very close to my WW goal of 179 lbs. (BMI of 24.9). I could make it at my next WI. It has just been a real long journey (2 years, 1 month and 3 weeks to be exact) and I know even when I get to my goal weight the hard part is still yet to come. Maintenance... yes I know it will be harder to stay at goal than to get there. But then again, I didn't join WW to lose weight. I could have done that with any diet. I joined WW because I wanted to keep it off. And keep it off for good. With WW I didn't diet, I just ate what I like with some planning and some portion control. Sounds easy to say it, but in reality it has been quite an undertaking. Between birthday parties, celebrations, family vacations, holiday get together and even just plain old eating out at your average restaurant you really need all the tools of living at your side to handle every eating situation that can get out of control. I give a lot of credit to WW, my ML, all the blogs and all the boards I post to. Without them, I would be a tin man without a heart, a scarecrow without a brain or a lion without courage. Now I am going to give back to the community that has given me so much of my healthy life back. I have now joined the WW staff and I am now an official WW receptionist that will in the near future make every effort to be an ML. I only hope that I can make as much a difference in someone's life the way everyone in the WW community has been in mine.

Hey Lou,

This sounds great. I am glad that your new eating lifestyle has stuck after over 2 years.

Take care.
