Hi all! I'm in as well and volunteer to be the "poster child" for this group. I'm 24, single, grad student, and full of great excuses to sabotage my own weight loss. I've been going through a horrible "weight gain" phase, and am putting a stop to it.
AP you are going to love the meetings (if you don't ...go to another one!) - I'm going back to WW as soon as I get back home from vacation in a week. Meanwhile, BTL might be my meeting.
Anyone else finding that their "naughty" side is sabotaging the fabulousness and weight loss?

Hi fellow 20-somethings! I've been stalking BLT for a few weeks and just joined. We all have busy lives but I hope we can all support each other!

Hi guys! I'm sorta new on BTL and I'm joining WW mtgs tomorrow! I'm really excited and love that this blog community has been a great support for everyone. I'm 24, definitely feeling the quarter life crisis, so I thought this would be a great group to find others I can relate to :)

I have been wanting to try rock climbing... but since I already have a gym membership and am a student, it is way too expensive! That's kinda funny that a gym is like a social club... I go to Gold's and it is the opposite. I don't even bother with make-up pre-workout because it will just sweat off anyways.
Susan... I LOVE aquafit classes, but I found it was all 80+ year old ladies there and I felt kinda out of place.

(by "club" i meant nightclub, it's like a social event. yuck. i dont want to be sweaty and trying to look my best or get hit on in the middle of my lunges, ya know?)

I personally HATE going to 24 hour fitness. .it's like a freakin club or something. I have been getting into running lately and I really like it. I go to the local park and do laps. I really wish I had a couple friends who were into running also. I am looking for running partners. Around my town, the younger fun active thing to do is go rock climbing, there are a few gyms in the area that offer it. I haven't tried it yet but it sounds like a lot of fun!

I run on my treadmill, walk my dog, go to curves, and participate in Aqua Fitness classes. I am currently in the process of becoming an Aqua Fitness Leader. However, an ankle injury (sprain) has put that on hold for a little while until it is fully healed.

This wall looks pretty empty!! Just thought I would say hi to everyone. I was wondering... what kind of exercise does everyone do for fun that is geared towards a younger crowd?? I love to run and do group fitness at my gym, but I was wondering what everyone else does?
