No matter the plan... we all Blog to Lose!

When do you ladies work out? I am trying to get a workout routine going and was just curious when you ladies that stay home work out. What kind of exercise do you do? I just bought some running shoes and the nike + ipod stuff. I have a treadmill and the Wii fit. I think my best bet is to get my workout done in the morning before our day gets away from me.

Somedays I get up and do an exercise video (I love Leslie Sansone's Walk Away the Pounds) or I will do something on the On Demand. I also try to get to the gym after my husband gets home to do the weights and other machines.

pretty much whenever I can fit it in... I wished it was more consistent but with a 10 month old I have to go with her flow. haha!

I have a walk at home video by Leslie Sansone. It is for all 3 miles and came w/ the walk band. That is a resistance band that goes around your waist. I just love it. It only takes 45 min for the full 3 miles, warm-up and cool-down included. I normally do it durring naptime. I recently went from doing 1 mile a day 5 times a weeks to doing the full workout 3 times a week. I am going to see how that fits my lifestyle. You have all the tools you need to get a great workout so just make it fit your schedual. I have found that diet change really wont keep working for me w/o the exercise, so it is good that you want to get fit that way. good luck and check me out on youtube:http://www.youtube.com/user/work2Bthin

I try to workout in the morning if at all possible before my little one wakes. If not then I do it when she goes down for her nap. Unless I go for a walk outside I usually just do a workout video. I have quite a variety so I don't seem to get too bored by them. I really prefer to get it out of the way in the morning. When I workout early it seems to be a reminder for me to eat correctly all day so I don't undone that effort in the morning. Sometimes when I have to wait until her naptime I don't always end up doing it.
What do you think of the Wii fit Merissa?

My original routine was to go to the YMCA at 9 am every day except Sunday. Since the kids are out of school for summer I haven't developed a good routine again. I've tried to convince myself to get up before my husband leaves for work and go alone, but I just can't seem to get up that early now that I don't have to.

I don't currently work-out! Shame on me!! (unless we go for a walk as a family) But I just heard about these 10 minute solutions videos, I will probaby try out a couple of those!

This is where I have a problem. I work at home 3 days a week, and my daughter goes to my parent's those days. I don't take actual breaks, so I'm not able to squeeze in exercise during the work day. I just got a Wii, still trying to get a Fit, but DH and I have managed to get in an hour or two of the sports games after our daughter goes to bed. I really need to work on putting some sort of routine together, though.
