Our Commitment

Our commitment is to Post daily how your day went, good or (especially) bad! Your post can be on your blog or here on the forum. It can contain your daily food journal or just a summary of the day. How ever you do, the commitment is to stay on plan one day at a time and to post something daily.

What we will do...
Everyday we will start a thread in our forum to post how we are doing throughout the day. Feel free to pop in anytime or just post at the end of the day to check in and report on your day.

This is just what I was saying in my own blog. I did a 30 day challenge in June. Did not gain and did not lose. I was thinking that I need to do one day at a time. At school the teachers are always saying that you have to do something 21 times to learn it. Well, I am going to do 21 days one day at a time. Today, my starting is to journal. I am betting I will see that I am eating more of the NO NO foods.

One day at a time seems like a fantastic idea! That way I can always start fresh the next morning! And if I mess up one day, I don't have to dwell on it beyond that one day!

We'll be waiting to hear about your great WI! I like that: "Make every day count!" That may have to be my new motivating saying. I've been using "Choose wisely. One day — one choice — at a time."

I think this is a great forum! Over the last 5 weeks, this has become my motto. I am doing weight watchers and my weigh in is every Wednesday. The weeks are flying by so fast, the next thing I would know it would be Wednesday again! Before I started taking it day to day, this would be my scenario. I would do great on Wed, Thus, and Friday, do horrible on Saturday and Sunday then try to get back to where I started the previous Wed. Then I would contemplate missing my weigh in, so I could get another hopefully "good week" in so I could have a loss the next time around. I can't tell you how many weeks I did that! Then it just occurred to me. "MAKE EVERY DAY COUNT!!!" Now, including weekends, my goal is just to do great TODAY, not worry about tomorrow. Now, I am excited to go in to weigh in because I don't have to beat myself up for blowing it another week. I have my weigh in tomorrow, and I did great this week, so I am excited to see the results! I'll let you know! Jennifer

I think consistency is tough for a lot of us. I'll start out my day great, but if I'm not vigilant about making good choices, it ends with a midnight fast-food meltdown when I get off work.

Much better day today. Yesterday I started out well well but at night I totally blew it snacking like crazy in front of the TV watching a movie. I'm 5' 4" and 175lbs and I know I have a lot to lose. Consistency is such a struggle for me.010

It's been a decent day. I'm off to get in a little bit of arm work with weights before the Boyfriend gets home!

Okay, it's Monday. Time to get back on the bus! I've been so bad lately. Gained almost everything back. Putting a screeching halt to that nonsense! I am back OP today!!!! I feel more in control. I even have plans to exercise today. Need to get some water in though because all I've had today is diet coke and coffee. YIKES!

Very cool concept, one that I think I could be friends with. Thank you :)

Today is a new day - beautiful weather and on track - went to the Y for a toning class and had a good breakfast. I'm journaling and drinking my water. I'm just going to focus on today - one day at a time.
