My weightloss journey


I'm so excited to have found this group. I'm hoping to get lots of motivation, tips and inspiration for my weighloss journey.
About me:
I'm a 36 year old Kenyan woman, mum of 3 wonderful kids and married to my loving French
husband for 10 years.

So my weigtloss journey starts AGAIN i must say, i had started a few years back and had lost almost 40lbs, but then i put myself on postion last on my list of priorities and i'm now back to sqaure one. I'm looking at it postively though...first i KNOW i can do it and secondly i basically know what works best for me.
so i started Monday and today is Thursay and i'm doing pretty good..i'm happy about that...



My weightloss graph from 2006-2008 at extrapounds.com ..just for motivation..knowing i've done it before...

My stats:
Monday 23rd Feb: 187 lbs (85kgs)
Thursday 26th Feb: 184.8 lbs (84kgs)
Saturday 28th Feb: 184 lbs (83.6kgs)

Sunday 1st March: 182 lbs (82.9 kgs)

Yes....!!!!

After not exercising for 2 days, i or rather we got my ellpitical from the basement and i did a whole......drumrolls please........................8 minutes..this morning..don't laugh.. i'm taking baby steps, adding a minute daily and in a couple of weeks i'll be at 30 minutes:) I was down to 82.5kgs this am..wohoo! 2.5 kgs (5.5lbs)since i started on the 23rd Feb, 2.5 kgs (5.5lbs) more to go this month!

Detox day with temptations....

I decided to do a detox yesterday, mainly eating fruits and veggies and fat free yogurt. So then i get a call from my girlfriend and she wanted to come over with another girlfriend visiting from England plus kids....so i ended up making a big bowl of donuts for 10 persons including hubby and kids....was not easy..................... but i resisted and didn't have even one, so i'm happy about that....YES!!!!
