Boot Camp

I finished the second day of Boot Camp today. It about killed my arms, but I feel good. It's nice getting "back into a routine". I was getting my body into great shape and then I just stopped - and kept eating. Not a good combination.

I did really well yesterday, except for a minor slip up with a few cookies. But today's a new day and I will focus on taking it one minute at a time.

Oh, hey there...it's been awhile

Well, hello there! It's been awhile. What have you been doing since you've been gone? What's that? Gained 8 pounds back? Time to get back in gear, then.

A few considerations:

WI is tomorrow -- don't get down if you're up.

Traveling on Saturday -- the pounds still go with you when you travel. Why eat crappy just because you're "away from home". Use that time to be ULTRA-focused on what you eat.

Am I in the movie "Groundhog Day"

Because I feel like I'm living the same day over and over again.

I talked to my WW leader and decided to switch over to the Simply Filling technique. I've been in a tracking rut and am SICK of counting points. The first day was great. Then the weekend was a total blowout. Beer, pizza, quiche...definitely NOT filling foods.

Hi girl!

I'm so with you on the baby weight! Last January, when I was diagnosed with Stage 2 Hypertension, my doctor told me to lose weight before I got pregnant. I went from 200 pounds in January to 178 in May and I was so excited with the prospect of a tiny wedding dress for my September wedding! Then it got hot. I hate summers in Texas, they just suck. The last thing I wanted to do was work out and then sit around being hot. So what did I do? I just didn't work out. BIG MISTAKE! I was back up to 190 by my wedding. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE my wedding dress! I had a fabulous time at my wedding and my husband still thought I was beautiful. His eyes totally lit up when he saw me, even at 190 pounds! But then, I just kept on blowing things off. Recently I actually found my way back to fast food. UGH! I hate the way fast food makes me feel! Today is the day I'm back on track. I turned 40 in December and was told by another doctor to basically get my butt in gear and have a baby or I won't have the opportunity. UGH!
