About Me:
I am 27 years old and recently left my job teaching special education to go back to school to complete an RN/ARNP program. I've gained about 15 pounds since graduating college, and I want to lose it for my wedding next September (and beyond!)
My fiance and I recently bought a house and we like to hang out with the our two dogs and two cats. They are really fun!
I'm hoping that this blog will help me reach my goals!

GOALS -
129 lbs by October (currently 131.2)
Work out four times a week - taking at least two group fitness classes
Track food intake
Plan of Choice:
Weight Watchers
Workout Philosophy:

goal 1!!

I am watching Roni's video right now about celebrating my accomplishments.. I wasn't going to post today but I thought I would after watching the video. This morning, I weighed 129.6! Its the first time I have weighed under 130 in about four years...exciting! My hard work is paying off!

post-party report...

Today went well, eating wise! I got up and got my butt in gear really quickly (for me!) and went to a "Step and Sculpt" class at the gym (about 5 activity points). Breakfast was an egg with two egg whites and cheese (3), a pear(2), and some coffee with hot chocolate and soy milk (2). I went to Target for some shopping and then ate some yogurt (2) with oatmeal (1). I've been a little scattered this whole week so today I finally tracked what I ate...better late than never!
Breakfast was oatmeal with banana, raisins and peanut butter with soy milk - 4
Coffee with soy milk and hot chocolate mix - 2.5
LaraBar - 4
apple - 1
tall nonfat latte with one pump of pumpkin spice - 2.5
For dinner I am going to have some chicken, sweet potato and salad which will be another 4-5 points. I'm also going to take the dogs for a walk...it is such a nice day out!

1.5 c of hear to heart 2

most of a banana 2 little less
tea 1 ish
coffee 2ish
zucchini bread 3 ish

veggies/edamame 1 ish

back to school...

today is my last day of break! my next twelve weeks will be a little more structured which will help my planning and eating, rather than having the whole days to myself....this morning i ate:
3/4c each grapes and pineapple about 3 pts
one egg, one egg white and a little cheese about 2 pts
coffee with 1/2 c milk and 1 T hershey's syrup 2 pts
I had lots of icecream last night (it helped my sore throat!) so I'm going to eat fewer points over all for the rest of the week to balance that out...probab… Continue
