I had a great weekend with my in-laws. It is so nice to just get away and have no responsibility. Thanks for all of those who reminded me how lucky I am to have such great in-laws. My husband and I are both really blessed because we enjoy spending time with each other's family.
My MIL did really good this time around. She didn't make my favorite pepperoni rolls or oatmeal cookies so there was no temptation there. She made mention of calories several times, so I know she was try

That title would normally make people think of all the negative stereotypes of in-laws--none of which are true in my case. I actually get along really well with my in-laws. They are super nice, fun to be around, and just so happen to think that I'm the greatest thing that happened to their son (Haha). They live out in the country and everything is a slower pace. I love to go and just relax. We typically don't do much while we are here. Which is a NICE change of pace for me. No feeling guilty

I've talked a lot about my new journal, so I figured it was time for a little update. I've been using it for 3 days now and I really like it. There have been several times that I have wanted to eat something (out of boredom or just beause it sounded good), but I didn't want to have to look up the nutritional information, so I passed. First the NSV...one of my students brought in cupcakes for her birthday today. I'm a sucker for store bought (nasty) cupcakes. They really aren't that good, but for some reason they call my name! I scraped most of the icing off, broke off one bite, threw the rest of it away and then enjoyed my one bite. Good thing I threw the rest of it away before I ate it because that one bite was so delicious--I would have eaten the rest (if it weren't buried at the bottom of the trash) Additionally, I log
