About Me:
I met my husband 21 yrs ago. We've been happily married 17 years. We have three kids.. a 15 yr old son, a 12 yr old daughter and a 4 yr old son. I have struggled with my weight off and on for years and I've tried many different diets. I have had the most success with Weight Watchers. I joined in april of 2007 and lost 50+ lbs between April and December. I was within 10 lbs from my goal weight and decided to stop going to meetings and loose the rest on my own. I did ok for awhile but slowly started to regain. I'm now up 10+ lbs. so I realized that I really do need the support and accountability of the WW meetings and I rejoined on March 31st, 2009. I'm committed to getting to my goal weight and a healthy BMI this year.

Workout Philosophy:
I stay active doing everyday activities, I'm a walk-a-holic, I'm a Running Fanatic, I love lifting weights

Scale say WHAT?

Well..... despite my binge yesterday, I went to WI today and actually lost 1.4lbs. :) yippee. And it's actually the first day of TOM as well so I wasnt sure what to expect. I've been weighing at home daily to help me overcome my "fear of the scale". It's so much better to just see the damage (or progress) immediately. And She's Off

As in "off to a great start" today, eating well and making good choices and then 'it" happened. "It" being a binge! :( Such a bummer to do so well and then give in to the ever powerful sweet tooth of mine. It totally ruins my whole day. I go to bed with such guilt it's hard to sleep. Coffee and Wine

I had been boo-hooing earlier this week about my scant 24 pts and how quickly they disappear. (I could eat many times that over I'm sure unfortunately) Thanks to some good advice I got here on BTL, I decided today that I'm going to use 4 FLEX pts each day for my morning iced latte (2) and a nice glass of red wine (2) in the evening. Good for YOU too, Donna! I really think WW just has a great program if you stick with it for the long haul, and at least do the maintenance weigh ins. That way you have no excuse for gaining back.

It was hard to go back, but I'm so glad I did. It's shocking how many people yo-yo up, down, back up, back down, over and over with the same weight. Even though I was bummed about gaining 9 lbs, I realize it could have been so much more and I'm thankful I stopped it when I did! Good luck!

Hey Donna...the Sandwich Thins are really like really skinny/flat "buns"...not at all like a pita. They are 100 calories, 5 gm fiber...1 gm fat. Works out to be one point! Good luck on finding them, or something similar!
