I love oatmeal. I add blueberries sometimes, dried cranberries sometimes. It is quick, yummy and good for you. I try to eat it at least 3 mornings a week. I have never thought about how long I stayed full but I will start paying attention.
Yes, Rachel gave me the bright idea to put 1 Tbls of peanut butter, 1/2 med banana and 2 Tbls of flax in my oats. I thin it with a little 1% milk. Oh Yumm!! And it lasts all morning for me. I love it!
Eat oatmeal everyday but I make sure to pair it with a protein so I stay full longer and I also add some fruit for more fiber. It's healthy, it's quick and if you have leftovers you cvan use it on your face as a mask lol.
Oatmeal used to keep me full for a very long time. Also hard cheese (not cream cheese). An egg scrambled with some shredded cheese in the morning would keep me full for 6 hours or more!

I 'am 5'1 and weigh 212lb. I'am wanting to lose 50lb's by next year for my birthdate. What a jump start! I started weight watchen point's 4/24/08. I started at 216lb.I drink water most of the time. I have not had any soda's or sweat tea in a month goooood for me.
This week is my walk week. I work long hours so this week i open witch mean's i get off work alittle early so i have some day light to walk yyyyyyyeeeeeeeeeeeesssssssssss!!!!!! My body have been calling for some good old walking lol.
Jackie! I feel ya! I have a husband that loves to eat too and when the popcorn comes out on the couch...who joins in? me! And when he says "Lets go out to eat" I say Ok! And i do NOT order salad! I am stuck at the same weight and it may even be more than the last time you and I communicated on here! So hang in there, we can do this! I am still writing out my plan for the day and trying harder not to scratch through the menu and add things like 'calamari' 'wine' or chocolate in place of the brown rice, water or tea or frozen fruit...haha! its HARD isnt it?
