The scale is up today, but this is a gain I can live with because in this case I KNOW why it's up. And that's okay! It's okay that it's up because that isn't going to derail me from continuing with a healthier lifestyle. But living healthier isn't going to deter me from living life and having a good time either.

I went running again this morning with my cousin and ran 3.8 miles! Woohoo! I walked about 5 minutes of it for warm up and cool down - but ran the majority of the trail. God that felt so good. I have a 5K coming up on the 20th and I'm gearing up for it. The Nike + put me at an average of a 12.08 pace per mile, and that includes the walking portion.

I went running at the park this morning with my cousin. It was so great. LOVE, love, love being outside. My cousin hasn't been running long either, and she did awesome. And she was so impressed with me - made me feel good. I'm fourteen years older than her; she has youth on her side and I managed to stay ahead of her. :-D
The Nike + voice came on and said it's the first work out where I burned the most calories - 208 for 2.12 miles.

I am so unmotivated right now - I just can't even begin to tell you. I was supposed to run last night, and skipped it. Just wasn't in me and I figured why bother because it would have been a crappy run anyway.
The tracking, eating and water are still on track. That's a good thing.
I'm looking forward to the weekend so that I can run outside - I really enjoy that
