Totally agree with Cindy M. And also, kudos for already making a plan to pack two sweet treats for tomorrow. You're right on track!

Nobody said cake was banned from your life did they? I say good job looking for the smallest piece, enjoying it and moving on. One piece of cake won't KILL you, and you dont do it everyday, and good job looking forward to tomorrow and being able to…

We're all on this "Weight Loss Wagon" together. I've fallen off many times in the past, and have come close to falling off this time around, but there's always a BTL member around that drags me back on! ;)

Hats off to you for accepting your weakness and facing it head on. It is the first step. It sounds like you know what you need to do, you just have to get the boost of motivation. We as humans need food to survive. It's what we do with the food tha…

Minor Slippage!

After posting today that I control my eating MUCH better at work, I completely slipped and indulged in a piece of chocolate cake from the cafeteria. I was craving something sweet and I had already eaten the sweet snack that I had packed in my lunch....so I took a stroll to the cafeteria....BAD CHOICE! There they were...slices of heaven on little styrofoam plates...chocolate cake with chocolate icing. I picked out the smallest one, paid my 54 cents, and enjoyed several delicious bites of the choc… Continue

Back to the Blog

After reading Roni's post about emotional eating, something inside of me clicked. If I value myself enough to get up at 5 a.m. to workout at the gym, I should value my body enough to provide it with healthy nutrients! I have no excuse for my poor eating habits, other than I wanted that funnel cake, blizzard, and piece of pie!

Today was a NEW day! I weighed in, logged my weight on the WW site, and then hit the gym for a hard workout. I also planned out my daily points in advance, packed my lunch… Continue

STRUGGLING!!!

I am struggling with many issues today! Sick Children! Social plans I need to back out of, due to Sick Children. And my eating habits. I have been half-heartedly trying to eat better and exercise more since the first of the year. I would give myself about a C- on the food, but a B+ on the exercise. But the scales are not budging. Granted, my clothing is fitting a little bit better, but I am still VERY disappointed. I am not sure what to do. I have joined WW online and that is helpful....but I am… Continue

STARVING!!!

OMG, I am totally starving. It is 3:34 p.m. and I only have 6 points left for supper. I am blogging, rather than eating. How does anyone get by on 20 points a day? I guess I did not have enough protein with lunch. I have some fresh veggies, so I will chomp on those for a while. Anything to keep me away from the chocolate!

Terrific Tuesday

THANK YOU to the people who commented on my page and made me feel welcome! Knowing that I am not alone is HUGE for me.

Today's Exercise - I got up early, despite my allergy headache, and completed the Week 1 segment of the Biggest Loser Bootcamp (25 minutes) and then did 15 minutes on my elliptical machine. Depending on the weather, I hope to squeeze in an outdoor walk after work today.

Today's Food - Well, so far all I have had is water. I plan on having Roni's Apple Pie Oatmeal and green tea… Continue

That's what we are here for. I got some support that I needed last week and it turned into a 3.5 pound loss. I'm just trying to return the favor. Good luck!

Hey Julie! I am a huge sugar fan, I just told myself I can't bake for a while, which I love to do. After about 2 wks, the cravings started to fade out and I don't feel the urge everyday like I need something. I was at the point after every meal I needed something sweet, but not anymore. I am the type of person who can't have a little or I want it all. No temptation for me is the best way to go. Some people can't do that, but if it's in site, it's gone in my house! :)
