About Me:
Well I am back! After getting pregnant last June and having a baby on February 28 I am ready to do this. I started with Weight Watchers shortly after she was born but couldn't get motivated and kept wanting to eat terribly. So I joined our local gym and bought myself 12 weeks with a personal trainer! I go twice a week and he kicks my butt every time. I also try to hit the gym 2-3 times a week in addition for cardio. I am starting to like exercise again!

I am here for motivation and support as I start this journey again. I previously was on here before coming pregnant by doing WW. I lost about 20-25 lbs in a year...so obviously I wasn't very dedicated. With my pregnancy I gained 50-55lbs and I was overweight to begin with, so now I have that much more to lose.

I WILL do this! Not only will I do it for myself but for my hubby and kids!

Wish me luck and good luck to all of you on your journey!

Starting Weight: 222.8
Current Weight: 204.6
Total lost: 18.2
Goal Weight: 140
Plan of Choice:
Weight Watchers, Other
Workout Philosophy:
I stay active doing everyday activities, I'm a gym rat ALL the way, I love lifting weights

Goals & Weight Tracking

My ultimate goal is to be at 140, if I could hit the 130s someday I would take that (even 139.9 just to say I was there). I NEED to be at and maintaining my goal weight by my Brother's wedding (which I am in) in April 2011 (yes a LONG time way, so I should be able to do this!). Obviously wtih a large amount of weight to lose starting at 222.8lbs, I have a long ways to go. Here are some of my mini goals to help me stay on track. I hope to choose a small reward to go along with each and keep me focused.

Goals Goal Date Date Met Reward

10% 7/7/2009
190s 7/14/2009

Hanging on....

Hanging on so far this week. I have used 10 of my FP already and its only Thursday afternoon- NOT GOOD (thanks to my frozen yogurt splurge yesterday) since we are going on vacation this weekend for 5 days. But I can do this. I had my usual cereal (cheerios) with a multi grain lite english muffin for beakfast, stopped with the intent to get a sugar free latte and ended up with a frozen hot chocolate (YUM)- but only allowed myself half of it (3 pts). Lunch I did pretty good....egg white omelet in… Continue

Holding myself accountable....

So after a great weigh in yesterday and feeling on cloud nine all day i was doing great. I Went over on a few points yesterday but that is typical of my trainer days since I need the extra protein. But today was no excuse. Non trainer day and I only have 1.5pts left for the day. That includes any afternoon snacks and dinner. YIKES! I can't even eat a bowl of cereal with those points! Now you may wonder WHY I have so few points left....that is because after my lunch I decided to have a bowl of fa… Continue

I did it! I really freakin' did it!!

I am SO proud of myself. I told myself I really wanted to lose 2lbs this week to hit 20lbs+ gone. I really focused on my eating, tracked every bite and didn't use all of my FP or my APs and....I lost 2.4lbs this week!! I am so happy. If you have been following my blog you know I Have been struggling with WW vs my trainers plan and all that stuff in between. Well I told myself I could do it and I did. I am just on cloud 9. That means my 10% is 1.7lbs away (200.5). That is my mini goal for this ne… Continue

Took a peek....

at the scale after my really great week and it said down 2.4lbs! Now if I can hold that out for tomorrow's weigh in I will be ecstatic! Not only will that be a bigger loss then I have seen in a few weeks, but it will mean I hit my 20lbs, am that much closer to getting out of the 200s AND that I can stay on my WW plan and don't need to go back to my trainer's plan just yet! Wish me luck. I am hoping if anything it stays at that, if not maybe even a little more. But I won't get greedy!

I had a de… Continue

Ready to start the weekend....

Today is off to another great start. I have been tracking everything and while I did go over on points yesterday I still have over 27 left, plus APs for the weekend. I plan NOT to use many of them if I can help it. Based on my two training sessions and 2-3 cardio sessions this week I will have 17-20 APs earned by the time Monday rolls around. YAY! SO good for me. Now I just have to make it through the weekend without going overborad and I should be set. Nothing too much planned for the 4th...I t… Continue

I just LOVE those first months with a newborn....not to say that I wasn't a train wreck sometimes! :) But those new baby wonders are just incredible. Enjoy your new one....you already know how quickly those days are gone!

Thanks for your comment! This is what I did for exercising- I started out with the 30 Day Shred, which is a 20 minute workout video by Jillian Michaels that uses hand weights. There are 3 levels that you can build up to, and the video is absolutely amazing. I think I got it for only $7 too! Then after doing that for about 4 months, I started running (I did the couch to 5k program) and shortly after that I bought the no more trouble zones DVD by jillian michaels. I currently do that about 2 days a week and run 3 days a week. I hope that helps!!

Just wanted to stop by and thank you for the comment and also to catch up with you! I remember you coming back in May or so...but have honestly been "missing" posts! You must post at times I'm not in here much! I need to make a point of "visiting" your page more often!

And did I mention to you...your little girl is SO damn adorable! So glad you're back! Hang in there...sounds like you're trying hard. The extra baby weight will all come off in time!

You are losing a good amount! Just stay focused. The 30 ds has slowed some for me. I pulled my calf muscle and when I do the video it hurts really bad so I am giving the video a rest for a little bit and trying to run more. For some reason I can run with a little soreness but when I do the video it really hurts. It is a great workout though. I am drenched in 20 minutes when I do it.

Thanks Kelly. I cancelled a few months ago with intentions of starting meetings and I never did. I got a 20% pay cut and I am taking classes towards my RN again in the fall so it makes more sense for me to do online now instead. I thought I could do it on my own but obviously not. How is ww working for you instead of your trainer's menu?

Thanks for the comment! It is easy to get focused on the scale... but I'm thankful for this site because there are others who know what I'm feeling.
