About Me:
My goal is to inspire others, especially overweight children! I am a Wife and a Mother and I work full-time. I cherish my family and friends and want to live my life in a positive, fun-loving and happy way! I want to be successful and make alot of money so that I can do the things I want to do -- travel with my family around the world!

I have lost 35 pounds so far on the South Beach Diet! I love to exercise and have just started a running program. I've been overweight almost my entire life and am ready to finally find the REAL me!

Ugh. Feeling frustrated that I did it again. On plan then off plan. I stayed on the South beach before and lost weight and felt really good while doing it. So, why am I failing this time? Last night I was having some feelings of anxiety and had to really fight not to munch on everything in site. Luckily, I recognized it and went upstairs (far from the kitchen). I did eat a bowl of cereal though but it could've been so much worse. I felt guilty about the cereal because it was not on my menu for the day - I plan ahead each morning. Back on track - wahoo!

Following my plan again and am on week 2 of my running program. I found the program through itunes and it follows coolrunner.com's "from couch to 5K" program. I feel great! I feel sore and it's a great feeling! I think this will boost my weight loss. Wanted to share it with you all in case you are interested too.

I will always have issues with eating out of stress and emotions, I know that but at least I recognize it and have learned a few things that can help. Getting outdoors, reading a book, exercising and cleaning are a few things. I still have moments though - like last night and ended up eating chocolate and chocolate. I'm not going to let the guilt get to me and am starting fresh again today. I wonder what you do to conquer moments such as these. Please share!!

Thanks Michelle! I never even CONSIDERED baking my veggies... what an interesting idea! I was reading one of Roni's blog archives yesterday where she suggested butternut squash fries... they sound pretty amazing! I think I will give that a shot as well!
