Some Random thoughts.

I don’t remember when I blogged last time, has it been a while? I am doing really well lately with my food and workout. I like to know for a fact that I have given my best food and activity wise, instead doing things haphazardly and crossing my fingers and hoping that the scale will cooperate. one down, one more to go

I survived my two week of training/testing at work. I actually did better than expected and might have lost few pounds too.

Now off to my next challenge- one month of fasting from dusk to dawn starting from tomorrow. Well, it’s not going to be straight one month, as I get to take a break during TOM, which is approaching. I am guessing I will fast for a week, get a break for a week and then fast for another two weeks.

Listen to your body

So, my body is telling me that I am not eating enough. All is not well…

Because it didn’t end well; Yes, I am talking about my weekend. One would think that after doing WW for year and a half, losing the weight successfully and maintaining it, I got everything under control. Nope, not me. I blew it on the weekend. Confused..

Counting points caught up to me yesterday, not in a good way. I did wonderful Monday and Tuesday. I increased my protein intake while staying within my points. Hi Pakhi! Thanks for reading my blog :) Ha, I most certainly did NOT grow up eating that way! Oh man, if you could have seen it. My parents are junk food connosieurrs, and still are. My favorite thing growing up was a peanut butter and Dorito sandwich on white bread- ew. Over the past few years I've completely overhauled my eating habits. It started with joining Weight Watchers, where I just started to learn about portion control and healthier options. At that point I still ate junk (frozen meals, 100 calorie packs) but they were less calories, so I didn't mind.

Eventually I started to care about overall health, and was vegan for a year. I'm no longer vegan, but eat that way much of the time. I feel 300 million times better than I ever did before when I give my body good, clean foods, so I focus on that!

Again, it took YEARS! So if you really want to change your eating habits, just pick one thing to eliminate at a time. Like for me, soda is one thing I just can't give up. I've cut wayyyyy back, but still have one occasionally. If I would have tried to cut everything out at once I would have gone insane! I still need a few vices :) Good luck to you!

About the progresso soups...I've never had a problem w/ them...my kids eat them too and I have never noticed them having more gas than usual...
