About Me:
I'm 29 years old and have finally found that switch in my head that changed my mentality from "diet and exercise" to "this is my new healthy life".

I've yo-yo dieted since puberty, but I've been on this particular journey since January 2nd, 2009. I started with a first goal of 50lbs, I'm 6lbs away from that goal. I've started running, and I completed my first 5k on Thanksgiving Day!

I also LOVE to cook and spend countless hours in the kitchen revamping recipes.

This time of year, my every free moment is savored. I live for each one. It’s hard for me to sit down in front of a computer when that is what I do all day every very long summer day. I don't like excuses...BUT


I don’t like excuses, but I seem to be full of them these days.




I’m working my ass off at work, so I’m too tired to work out after work.




I’ve had a rough week, I deserve to indulge in too much (insert sinful delight here).




I have nothing good to blog about, so why bother.




I’m EXHAUSTED. Mentally, physically and emotionally.

Here is the link for the recipe for the greek salad dressing. It is awesome. You can adjust the serving size to get just the right amount. Right now it is set for 120 servings so make sure you change it! I backed down on some of the salt when I made it. ENJOY!!!
