I have struggled with my weight my whole life. I am a big time emotional eater with little self-control.

Beginning weight - 189
Highest remembered weight - 248
Highest weight & not pregnant - 194
Current weight - 153.5
Goal - 144
Total loss needed to get to goal- 45 lbs. (or 50, depending on the start weight you pick)
Loss so far - 35.5 lbs (according to WW - 40.5 if you count my highest)

Back on the wagon

Well, after this weekend, I decided I really can't do this on my own. I haven't been tracking points although I havae been aware of what and how much I am eating. Anyway, I signed back up for WW online on Monday. The fact that they had a discount prompted me. I weighed 158 that morning and WI yesterday 153.5. I know it was a lot of water weight from the weekend.

Bleh- WI this am - not so great

Well, it looks like the Easter candy won once again. I weighed in this morning and it was 155.5, so I've gained 3 lbs I think since my last post. Oh, well, I started the day well and had a great plan even before WI. After WI, I went for a 30 min walk - 2 miles. Came home and made my berry oatmeal for breakfast and a hot cup of chai tea (no milk) with stevia. That should hold me until well after lunch. I love the fact… Continue

I year - yesterday

Well, yesterday was my 1 year anniversary on WW. I hit goal on 11/26 @ 144. Yesterday I weighed 155. I've gained 11 pounds in a little over 4 months. No big surprise, really. I haven't been journaling or paying attention to what I am eating - actually that's not true, I've been paying attention but was in denial and, quite honestly, I was rebelling. No run, rough night

Well, although I was determined to get a walk in, my husband ended up working until 1 am. Needless to say, a little too late for a walk. I did, however, take the kids and the dogs for a quick walk/bikeride. We needed to get out.
Hopefully I will get the chance this evening after we get home from my husband's birthday dinner.

I will go for a walk/run tonight!!!!! Darn it!

Ok, it's getting nicer here - the streets are clear of ice and snow and it's a balmy 35 out. Although it's my husband's birthday (yes, I made a cake), I want to go for a walk to help motivate my butt. I know he won't care - we're going out for dinner tomorrow to celebrate since he works late tonight. I will keep you posted on the outcome.

Hi Erin! My Weight Watchers goal is 143. I personally would like to get down to 128 but I'll see how I'm feeling in the 140s.

Erin!! So good to hear from you! I am sorry to hear that things have been rough on your end :O( There is absolutely nothing to be ashamed of. Maintenance comes with good days and the bad. You know what you need to do - you need to get control of your life back!!! I know how easy it is to let things slip and slide away but I am sure once you get back to feeling good again everything will fall back into place. Don't wait for the spring - start now!!! You can do this!!! I bet those 12 lbs will fly off of you once you get your head back in the game :O)))) Good luck and let me know if you ever need anything!

I understand the body fat thing. Even though here in NW MT we are not as cold as you, body fat does keep me warm. Hmmm, maybe that is the reason that I feel like I have to keep it :)
