About Me:
I started my journey in early 2009. My start weight was 256 lbs. I try to eat whole foods whenever possible and try to stay away from artificial sweeteners and processed foods. I've been eating healthy for over a year and now I'm starting to exercise because I WANT to, not because I HAVE to. I enjoy biking and just started yoga (which I LOVE). I am learning to love me.
Workout Philosophy:
I'm new to exercise

Weight, Goals, and Progress

Let's see. I've been away for a while so here is a goal re-vamp.

1. Don't stress about the number, BE HEALTHY
2. Move more, do stuff that is fun so it doesn't feel like work
3. Don't beat yourself up if you have a bad day, just have a better day tomorrow!
4. NO HFCS, NO TRANS FAT, NO ARTIFICIAL ANYTHING
5. LOVE YOURSELF MORE, YOU DESERVE IT

I decided on my way home that I was going biking. I got home, ate a banana, changed and went out the door. I was going to bike just down to the bay and then back around to the house. Then I thought, well, I should at least do what I did on Saturday. So then I did what I did on Saturday, which is a figure 8 around the two blocks next to my street. Need to exercise...

So I just finished watching the latest Biggest Loser episode that I had DVR'd. Seriously, that show is so motivating. I was just in awe when they were all pulling those tractor trailers. It was amazing. A lot of the people on the show this week were talking about how old they are and how long they've been overweight and it really made me think.

Thank you so much for the comment on my blog Renee! Good idea on asking my OBGYN. I'm so new at this that it's hard to know where to turn! lol. I have my 10 week check up in a a few weeks and I'll check in on that =)

Sounds like you've got a great plan, girl! Starting with the basics will definitely make you succeed! Go get one of those huge Nalgene water bottles, that's what I have! Then i just guzzle away all day =) Oh, and something I just started re-doing; giving myself a smaller plate to eat from then our dinner plates. Works every time! You can only fill it so much, lol.

My goal this week is to get back into the exercising groove. I ran last night (sensor didn't work again, so I'm getting one rushed to me) and starting that challenge I talked about in my blog today. I'm hoping to run at least three times this week, wish me luck!!

I think we should do this every week, give each other our "mini goals" and check back to see if we've followed through on them. I need the fear of someone kicking my butt every now and then, haha. Hope you have a great week, Renee!!

Thanks for your comment- I'm drinking as much caffiene as ever... unfortunately. I'm forever trying to quit... apparently it's a slow process for me. Good thought, I will have to try and notice if that affects my lightheadedness!
