And then there were none.

The title refers to my flex points...as I have no more after my husband's birthday celebrations last night. We went out for Mexican, and I had planned on trying to be good, but then I had a margarita... Haha, we had a blast though, so these once in a while type things are okay. Now back to plan!!! I have PT tonight, so that should burn a lot of calories, and I'm going to do my best to be as low as possible the rest of the week/weekend. Day 8...I ate and ate

haha...sorry, I'm in a weird mood today. I did use some flex points yesterday "technically". I also had personal training where I earned activity points, but since I"m in hard core loss mode, I don't use my activity points. So I know I was hungrier than normal because of the workout, so it all ends up being okay.

Days 5, 6, and 7 - a Success!!

I managed to make it through the weekend and stay on plan!!! I feel like I enjoyed a few things this weekend, but didn't go overboard on anything, and ended the week with an 18 point surplus of flex points. So the first week of my 27 day plan were a success!!! I hope this week continues to go as well as last week! It's definitely a choice I have to make every day to stay on plan, and I know I can do it! Time Flies when you're having Fun!

I've been so extremely busy at work, and with life in general, I've neglected BTL! But I'm back in full force! I just got back from my spring break in NYC, and I had an absolute blast!!! Ups and Downs

That is how I've been feeling lately. Some days I'll have a good day, others will be bad. My workouts have been on point though, working out 3 days a week on my own, then 2 days a week of personal training...so I know that is good. However, I'm having some more birth control issues. I got on NuvaRing after having my old BC turn generic...and the generic was causing a lot of problems. And after 6 months of NuvaRing, I'm still having problems. Plugging Along

I've had a good week with food journaling and personal training. Things are still continuing to look up, or down as the case may be ;-) on the scale...so things are going well. I am heading into the weekend with 17 flex points to my name, but I'm a tad concerned only because we have a wedding rehearsal dinner to go to tonight and a wedding tomorrow for my husband's cousin. Didn't Journal, but Didn't Blow it

So I didn't end up journaling this weekend...I just didn't feel like it. I ate normal low points foods, worked out both days, and enjoyed myself. I'm going through a "not wanting to journal" phase, which happens every once in awhile. Sometimes writing down everything I eat starts to drive me a little bonkers, even though I know sometimes I need to do it no matter what. Away they go....

Well all buy one of my flex points has flown out the window...but I'm not totally panicky quite yet. Had a great day yesterday...had my fav splurge for lunch. Taco Casa. It's a local taco place that makes all of their food with fresh ingredients...kind of like a higher class Taco Bell. I had my Nachos w/ Cheese and side of beans...and it was very yummy, and helped with the salty cravings as well! And even better...I didn't eat all of it. I stopped when I felt full and it was great! SALTY

Why is it that every time TOM comes around, all I want to do is stuff salty things in my mouth???? I was hanging out with a friend last night watching Idol at her house when the salty craving kicked in...and what did she have in her house...RUFFLES...full fat, greasy, salty, delicious ruffles. Back to the Grind

Okay...the weekend of fun is over. We had a blast at game night on Friday and I surprised myself...while I did have 3 pieces of pizza...that is actually a huge success for me...pizza is definitely one of my "trigger foods", so I was pretty pleased with myself. Ahhh...now I remember the pain

Wow...had our first Personal training session last night, and man do I remember the pain now. I already felt it leaving the gym, and I know that the full onslaught of the soreness won't happen for another 24 hours, so it's going to be a rough weekend. Catch Up Post

Okay, I've been MIA this week, but not off program...just too busy to blog. So here is a conglomerate post of what's been going on: 1) I have worked out 4 times already this week, and it feels great! Workout Plan

Okay, so I've been contemplating kicking up my workouts because I've been half-assing it since the beginning of the year since I was trying to focus on getting my healthy eating back on track...and now that the eating has been taken care of, it's time to kick these workouts up. FULL Weekend

Well I'm definitely glad that I saved all my Flex points for this weekend, because I certainly needed them!!! I ended up going over my flex points, but only by 2 points...so I guess it could have been way worse. I do feel a tad bit bloated and blah today, so I'm going to try and up my water intake and take care of some of that extra sodium I consumed! Willpower

Yesterday was one of those days that really tested my commitment to my short term New York goal, and I'm happy to say that I think I passed with flying colors. First, the lunch issue.
