I went a little over my points mostly b/c I went home to Louisiana for Spring Break and then came home for a mini Disney vacation…in Louisiana instead of eating yummy fried seafood I had boiled shrimp and crabs…mmmm…even better and you can eat so much for so little points.
Exercise: 5 days (pretty good for vacation)

Food: I went over my points by about 11 or 12 points. I really need to not let myself get so hungry during the day because then I scarf down all these careless snacks. I also need some ideas for pre and post workout snacks.
Exercise: I exercised 6 days this week; I did 4 days of strength training/cardio and 2 days of only cardio.

I am really doing well this week. I am enjoying the gym and really eating well...but...I started smoking again. I never was a big smoker but every once in a while i go through a month were I smoke 2-3 cigarettes a day and then I quit for a couple of months and then I pick up the habit again. I quit for the longest period ever from May 2008-December 2008...but now I am back smoking.I think it was easy to quit because I couldn't run like I wanted to as a smoker but now that I am not running nothin…

I am off and running with my new 12 week challenge.
For the past month I have been really trying to "eat in" as much as possible...So I have learned a couple of healthy recipes that even my husband loves....including Southern Fried Chicken in the oven,,,mmm boy.
And even though I had that terrible experience at the gym on Saturday...I went to the location by my husband school yesterday and today.

My bad gym experience pretty much ruined my Valentines Day...I was just bummed and felt bad about myself. I thought about a lot of different options of what to do and here is what I decided.

I had a horrible experience at the gym I just joined last week.
When I joined I was offered a trainer for the first day pretty much to show me how the strength training machines work and talk to me a little about a program I could develop to reach my goals,

I don't think I ever got to share with you guys my experience of running my first 5K....so now is a great time to share for all you 5Kers or all of you people who are considering doing one. Hurricane Fay is bringing me down.
I am so sick of this weather...I have not been able to go to the gym since Monday because its a glass enclosed room and i am scared of the thunder and lightning...yesterday I was tired of no official exercise for 3 days so I did a sort of boot camp in my apartment….and I repeated it tonight. I am all moved in to my new home in Florida.
My trip home last week went very well. It was really jam packed every single day…I never really had time to think. I did manage to stay on program even though we dined out a lot and I only got to exercise 3 days….that’s not counting all the exercise I got packing the truck for the move.

One of my summer weight loss goals was to be able to fit back into my wedding dress again. I was married on October 28 2006. For my one year anniversary I wanted to try on my dress for fun…it was really sad I couldn’t zip it up at all.

Going Home
Ben and I are in Asheville for 4 more days and then we head out to Louisiana…before our big move to Orlando.
