SPAM Policy – No Tolerance
I just wanted to post a quick message about SPAM and the community. In a way, this site is mine. I did make it for all of you, but I am “queen” and I have a NO TOLERANCE policy when it comes to SPAM. (Hmpf, never thought of myself as Queen of BtL before - LOL)
As many of you know, SPAM was the main reason I had to, in essence, shut down my original community. I just couldn't keep up.
So, that being said, I had to BAN a few members. If you sign up, post a message about your product and leave, YOU WILL BE BANNED. No questions asked, NO exceptions.
Now, this does not mean you cannot share your honest opinions about products, diets, web sites and such. I'm a HUGE fan of word of mouth adversing and I think it's important for us to share, that's the whole reason for the site after all! So do not fear if you want to post a link something.
However, most people can tell a SPAM message when they see one. So if I notice product and site links from a member who does not participate in other areas of the site, who does not blog and who appears to only want membership to post links then, yup you guessed it, BANNED! Without warning.
I'm not one for rules and in someways I am naive, thinking everyone has my same intentions to honestly help and connect with people. We all know there are individuals out there who scan these type of sites looking for an easy way to self promote some new fad diet or ridiculous product.
I hope this does offend you and please understand I will not use my “powers” for evil. I just want to keep this a nice, supportive, community where people can give and get the support they need without SPAM!!
