Loss of Functionality (Specifically Who's Online & Chat)
I am at a loss for words. It seems that many of the features I spend time (and money) on adding to this community to make it, well, great in my opinion, have been banned by the community tool I have chosen, let's call them "the masters of the community universe". This is one of the cons of moving to this style of system over our old community.
This came about with no warning and a total shock to me. I tried to to figure out what was wrong technically until I found this blog post explaining what has happened.
In summary, the third party widget guy who made all these great tools was shut down which means his widgets were consequently shut down as well. WITH NO WARNING! (sorry, I got a little upset there).
I have a help request out asking if they are going to replace the functionality so we can still utilize the same fun features. So far all I know is that they are working on the chat. I will update as soon as I hear more news.
DARN IT! I LOVED the Who's Online feature SO MUCH!!
I hope you guys understand. In a side note we have reached over 1000 members. What a crappy way to celebrate. :~(

Roni, thank you so much for working SO HARD on this site. It is such an incredible tool for so many people and you do it all just because you want to help. You have given so much of your time, energy, money to this site because you are just that damn nice. So thanks :)

Definitely seem to be in line with what I experienced though, because Friday morning when I got on briefly I didn't see anyone (including myself) over there. Then last night and this morning was the same problem. I can't believe they would do that when people have paid for it and not even give a heads up, or say what you can do to get your money back. I loved the Who's Online feature, too!
