Blog to Lose

No matter the plan... we all Blog to Lose!

Hi All!

Sorry I've been so absent. Life is FINALLY starting to calm down for me and I'm looking forward to starting back up the push-up/sit-up challenge and motivating people through the holiday season. There will be no waiting to get healthy till the New Year on my watch! ;)

Anyway, I recently wrote a post called Why do you love your body? Roni’s Exposed Post. I've been feeling a bit down about myself lately. I haven't been working out, my schedule is insane, I'm eating out more. And for some reason when I go through these times I take it out on my body. It's like I'm wired to feel bad about myself when I get stressed or emotional. And of course when I feel bad about myself I want to eat junk and lots of it.

It's such a vicious cycle!

And I'm TIRED of it.

So this time I decided to face it head on...

I refuse to re-start the same cycle that kicked off my 15 years of yo-yo dieting craziness. I will focus on all the wonderful things about my body. It's NOT about being perfect, or looking like someone in a magazine. Right?

RIGHT?

So I'm asking if you can do this? Are you Ready to Expose Yourself?

I'm not going to lie. It's hard. But it's an invaluable exercise even if you don't go public on your blog like I did. Look in the mirror. Accept who you are. Love yourself unconditionally. It really is the key to permanent weight loss.

Reading your posts just has got me motivated. It is all very challenging. I have also been a yo-yo dieter for going on probably over 20 years. I can remember going on a diet since I was 9 and never in my life been off of a diet. I have lost 70 lbs before having my son and after and five years after having my daughter I'm stuck. I hope reading your blogs and posts by other people will help. Thanks for all the inspiration.

This is my second time reading your post and motivated me...I did it. It was so hard and scary but I exposed myself too. Thank you so much Roni.

This is so funny. For the last couple of days, after reading your post, I've been doing the same pose in the mirror to see if I like what I see. I do!! Thank you so much for bringing us all back to what is truely important, loving ourselves.

I loved this post. You are so inspiring as always! Focusing on the positive of our bodies is key to believing in ourselves and believing we are worth it. Thank you!

Roni, I can't thank you enough for posting this. It brought tears to my eyes, it's wonderful. I wish that more women had your courage to accept who they are. Thank you for all that you do for those of us on our journeys to a healthier life. Thank you for giving us access to the information that reminds us that it's not just about a number on a scale. I don't know if I could expose myself publically, but you have given me a new outlook and project to work on privately.
