No matter the plan... we all Blog to Lose!

Let me start out by saying....I am so tired of all the rain!!! It has rained 2 days straight here! I think it should clear up tomorrow. I just want to see the sunshine.
I did good today with my eating. Still need to work at getting all of my water in. That will always seem hard to me.
I have been reading alot of articles on the bad effects of Aspartame (Nutra Sweet and Equal) it really makes me think. But when looking at the store almost everything and I do mean everything I eat has Aspartame in it!
Even the little things I add to my water. I am just at a loss wondering if this could be the reason for my weight loss stalling or my weight gain. Everything seems to say that in some people this stuff makes you crave carbs and slows if not stalls fat burning and weight loss. I am really on the fence about the whole thing and thought I would see what kind of response I got on here about it. If you don't use Aspartame or avoid products that have it what do you eat?

The YMCA was NUTS again this afternoon. I just changed and went upstairs to walk the track with my Nike Plus. I was so glad that I tried to see how I did at jogging, and I made it 1 time around without stopping (which is great for me and my shin splints!!) I think I could have gone further but didn't want to push myself. But I did get in 2 miles. I think I am going to stick with this in the afternoons instead of the Elliptical machines until the New Years resolution people clear out like they usually do 2 weeks after starting.

Well, I am typing and trying to watch the Biggest Loser at the same time. Hope everyone had a great day!

Hey Lori...same here....the gym has been absolutely CRAZY after work! It's always that way at the beginning of the year! Give them about 6 weeks and many of them will quit coming and things will get back to normal!! LOL. I get there around 6:00 and there isn't a cardio machine to be had! Good thing I'm there for a class and not to do the elliptical or something! Great job on the jogging too! You rock!

Haha I feel like i could have written this post. The Aspartame thing gets me. It really does. I have been looking for products without it and seem to not be able to really avoid it and calories. Okay I probably can but coming from a small town with two grocery stores I cant find all those great new products all the time. I found that I was drinking alot of my Aspartame so I bought a Klean Kanteen and for whatever reason it forces me to drink tons of water. I actually put two tea bags in it on my way to work or school and then have mild flavored water when I get there. I dont know what to do about that whole issue either!

And as for the YMCA I have the same darn issue, so I have been going at like 7pm when people are home eating or being lazy! The darn ellipticals are ALWAYS full so I took go upstairs and do the track!
