Earlier today, I was feeling a little down about my evening munchie attacks at the Boyfriend's house.
Amazing what a small thing it takes to lift my mood: Pants. Smaller pants, to be more exact.
Well, actually not so much smaller, but consistent. I got ready for work in a hurry this afternoon, and grabbed a pair of pants from the closet without being sure they'd fit. (They're size 12 corduroys from the Gap.)
Not only did they fit — but there was no muffin top in sight! Woo-hoo!
It seems like it was just a few weeks ago that I was fitting into my size 12 jeans again for the first time. Now the dress pants are fitting me consistently, too. Nice. I'd say that's definitely an NSV. Time to put another quarter in my jar. Quarters don't add up very quickly, but it's about all I can afford at the moment. Hopefully I'll have enough for my tattoo soon.
I ate more than my 25 allotted Points today (by about 8 ...) But after the last few days, only being 8 over is a vast improvement. Tomorrow will be better, and I plan to earn some APs with either a walk outside or my new "Walk Away the Pounds" DVD. I picked it up at Wal-Mart yesterday and can't wait to try it. (I'd have done it today had I not run out of time between the massage, errands, lunch and work.
