Blog to Lose

No matter the plan... we all Blog to Lose!

This was my dessert tonight, and it was so good, I wanted to share.

I can't remember where I read about this stuff, but when my local grocery store had it on sale for $2.99, I HAD to try it. I'm glad I did. It's seriously delicious ... It reminds me a little of Greek yogurt, but it's swirled with honey, so it's a perfect blend of tart and sweet.

I saw some online reviews mention that it gives Pinkberry a run for its money, but I've never tried their frozen yogurt, so I can't compare. However, funnily enough, I was watching a History Channel show on ice cream and it ended with frozen yogurt. It said that when frozen yogurt debuted back in the 70s (or 80s, I don't remember), it was tart and customers didn't take to it. It wasn't until TCBY made its yogurt taste more like ice cream that frozen yogurt sales took off.

Nowadays, frozen yogurt has come full circle, and the tart flavors are gaining popularity.

At least that's what they said on the History Channel. (Yes, I'm a geek. I admit it. I LOVE watching the History Channel.)

Our Wal-Mart has had it for $2.50. I have bought some of the slow churned ice cream for the kids, but haven't tried the yogurt blends yet.
