I sure hope that this excitement sticks! I'm eating good, exercising well, and have plans to make it even better!
We re-joined the YMCA, and went to work out for the first time today. I have been going to Jazzercise, which I will miss, but the Y is more cost effective for the family. So a friend and I went up, dropped off the kids in the child watch and walked 2 miles on the treadmill. We would have done more, but I had another meeting I had to get to. We checked into the Cardio Dance class offered MWF, and we happen to know a couple of the women in that class. So, I plan to do that class, and on T-TH they have a shorter cardio class that is similar which I plan to get into. We walked the treadmill, which I didn't really care for. I don't think I'll hit the fitness room too often unless I just want an extra workout. Dance aerobics is fun, machines are not.
But, none of this would have been possible had my darling children not been so cooperative. Abigail (3 on Valentine's Day) is a TOTAL momma's girl and can't stand to be away from me. She went into her class and apparently did very well! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! Let's just hope her willingness to be away from me continues! We're going back tomorrow for a 30 minute class. I plan to entice her by letting her know that we'll go to open swim after my class! Oh yeah, children, plural...Samuel (5) would stay there and play all day if he could, and then he would cry when it was time to leave!
So, keep your fingers crossed for me that I will continue to have this excitement and motivation, and that Abigail will stay happy!
