No matter the plan... we all Blog to Lose!

My 16 year old daughter came home from work last night at 10:00...was starving, so had a bowl of cereal...and a 1/2 hour later she was on her knees in front of the toilet! Uhhg! She has been the sickliest thing lately! She was sick over Thanksgiving last (with strep throat etc)...now this! I sure hope it's just a 24-hour bug!

And now some "whining" from me.... Every muscle in my body is screaming!! Missing Body Pump class for 2 weeks is NOT a good thing! It is like starting over from the beginning. I cringe when I walk down the stairs and also when I go to sit on the toilet (sorry if TMI! lol). And get this...every time my foot landed on the treadmill track, my quads muscles hurt too! Right now I feel like I'll have a tough time doing the class tonight...but I will go. But will probably end up lightening up my weights!

Other than that, the week is going well so far! Eating is right on track!

Yikes, I hope your daughter gets to feeling better & I hope no one else catches it! I love being sore but it can be brutal too, just keep pushing away & you'll feel great!

Hmmm so the kid drama really never ends! :) I'm sorry your sore, but that means it's working! Push through. I met with my trainer tonight for the first time in 3 weeks. I"m pretty sure tomorrow is going to be really rough! Thanks for you post - the dried cranberries I use are just Craisins. They are pretty high in calorie, but in a great big salad I only use a third a cup for 2 points. To me, it's totally worth it. :) I am finding myself to be very satisfied at the end of lunch and happy I got so many veggies in!

sorry about your daughter...we have it too! I just keep thinking that I am so glad its not me! horrible huh?! anyway, good job on sticking it out w/ the workouts...stretch stretch stretch! And we are starting to run outside...weather permitting we are running outside at least once per week. Oddly enough, the pace is faster, but the run is harder...very weird!

It's this horrible winter weather, I swear it is! Cold hot cold hot. Being a teen is stressful enough without having mysterious illnesses besides. Hope your muscle aches are just that, and NOT a symptom of something else

I read your title as "I'm so sick of kids" and I thought "SO AM I!". But I really can't get away from them, so I guess I'm stuck :)

Sorry your daughter's sick, I know there's a nasty flu going around. Yuck. Keep it far away from me! Congrats on going back to Body Pump! I've always wanted to take that class but never got around to it. At least you know it WILL get easier the more you go :) Sounds like you're off to a great start to the new year Robyn, keep it up!
