Becca

My two worst binge-eating weeks ever...

- and that's saying a lot, considering I've been binge-eating for the past few years.

Tomorrow is a new day. I must do this to help myself. If I can't love myself, who will?

So let's be foward-looking, because looking back to all the binges just makes me depressed and it turns into an ugly downward cycle.

PLAN starting tomorrow:
1. Cut out all 'dry' carbs for the next 2 weeks.
2. Consume under 1000cals per day. (For the foreseeable future.)
3. No eating after 9pm. (Except for late dinner on Weds after Chinese class.)
4. Exercise everyday. Even if it's just a bit of walking.
Cardio = at least 4 days a week.
Non-cardio =2 days a week (including yoga.)

Unfortunately I've got exams this Sunday, so I won't be able to start exercising until next week. But I'm determined this time. Please work out.

Weigh in =118.5lb @ 03Dec08 4am

Ok, you should never consume less than 1200 calories per day. To do so puts your metabolism into a famine state and slows it right down. Then when you DO eat more, you'll gain weight like crazy.

Keep it at around 1200, just make it whole foods, no processed foods, no sugar, no msg, no high fructose corn syrup. You'll see a huge decrease in cravings within a couple of days, making the whole process a heck of a lot easier.

Tawnya - I'm not obese, but it's definitely the heaviest I've ever been. I'm only 5'2" and I'm pretty petite/ small-boned (if there's such a thing.) But my main issue isn't exactly my weight, but my binging habbit. For example, in the past 2 weeks, I've been eating 1 loaf of bread + half a box of crackers or cereal every night. I just want to stop that.

Natasha -You're prob right. I will try tomorrow. Thanks! (I should go to bed now -it's almost 5am here!)

You can start exercising TODAY. You can spare 15 minutes here or there. Get some weights out and set them where you can see them. Pump some iron while your reading. You will at least feel like you did a little and you stop that guilty feeling building up inside.

You only weigh 118.5 lbs. Is this alot for someone of your height?
