Picked up some new running shoes today. I was looking for something a little lighter than what I was running with. I was running with Asics, one of the gel line. They were very comfortable when I first got them - very cushy. But lately they have felt like little furnaces on my feet, not breathing very much and making my feet sweat. I tried a few different pairs of socks, but my feet were still warm.
So my new shoes are
Saucony Women's Progrid Guide 2. I wore Saucony shoes the pair before last and liked them a lot. They're light and provide a lot of ankle support. They're not overly cushioned, but they're still very comfortable. I'm looking forward to wearing them. I'm also going to be tracking the mileage I put on them with
RunningAhead (it works with my
garmin GPS watch).
