I am glad that today is my rest day for exercise because nothing would get me moving today. My 5 yr old was home sick yesterday. I thought the throwing up was just because of the bloody nose that he had. I am guessing now that it was either my dinner I ate last night or he wasn't throwing up from his nose bleed. I know TMI.
Despite how I feel today, yesterday was an AWESOME day. I got in a 40 minute video workout, turbojam, while the kids were playing in the play room next to me. I have come to a realization that I just have to get it done no matter what. My 2 yr old has stopped taking naps so I can't really rely on him sleeping to work out. I have just found a way to do it while he is awake and so far so good.
I was able to control all snacking yesterday with lots of water and gum, plus I just focused on the 9 Healthy guide lines and I was good to go. I made a great french onion soup recipe from Roni's greenlitebites site. It was awesome. The only sad moment for me was that I actually allowed myself to become TOO full. I overate. Over eating is not really what got me here. It was more the continuous BAD eating. Lesson learned and I am moving on.
Today I plan to lay low and catch up on some magazines, let the kids sit around me and hopefully I will be back to normal by tomorrow. I just hate recovering from a day of no or light eating. It takes a while for my stomach to get back to wanting things.
