And to anyone else who lacks common sense... DO NOT drink 30 + oz of water before bed! Here's the story:
A few days ago I decided I wanted more water in my day. I fill a Nalgene water bottle and take it to work every day and drink it all day. Well for some reason I thought it would be a good idea to drink a whole extra bottle about an hour and a half before bed. (ok now I start talking about bodily fluid, so I understand if you want to stop reading here) :) I thought I'd be okay because I peed twice before I went to bed and I thought I'd maybe wake up one during the night to go again (which is fairly normal for me). Well, was I WRONG. I woke up 3 times to go to the bathroom during the night. On top of that, I think the extra water made me have a really weird dream and I didn't sleep well at all. Needless to say I was very tired the next day and haven't tried this experiment again since. Maybe next time I'll start the water earlier and go potty more BEFORE bed instead of after!
On a plus note, I started logging my calories again today (after a long break for the holidays). So hopefully the mindfulness will result in a downward trend on the scale.
