So while on the treadmill at the gym the unthinkable happened! My iPhone crashed and I lost some run data! Bah Nike+, bah iPhone!
The funny part is... Normally I would have put in another 15 minutes, grumbling the whole time and stopped. Instead, i rebooted my iPhone, continued to run and put 30 minutes onto my Nike+ after the crash. That had me on the treadmill for 46 minutes of running! Over 50 minutes including cool down. Go me, go me! I will admit that it was motivated, in part, to not lose too much milage for my Nike+ challenge with some other fabulous BTL'ers! Yes my sense of competition has not diminished!
My other gym-ly concern was how the kid would get along there. When I quit the gym the last time, it was partially motivated by the fact that my kid didn't care for the "little boy" side of the kid care area. He started dragging his feet and complaining about going. It got to be a struggle to find time when I could leave him at home and eventually I stopped finding time. Well today the kid is big enough to go to the "big boy" side of the kid care, so I hyped it up, left him with a kiss & hug and went to the treadmill. An hour and a half later... I went to pick him up and he asked to stay longer! Woot woot! The entire walk to the car he talked about how much fun he had. He was hot and sweaty and got fantastic activity time in the climbing structure. So it looks like both of us got some great activity in!
Tomorrow is weigh in... i am hoping for a good loss!
