Last night I was sitting down after what was a long day, and thinking I could finally relax...and my legs and arms started to get achey...kind of sore, but not quite. It was odd. I just could not get comfortable. And I noticed my fingers were swollen just enough to be noticeable.
I must have fidgeted in my recliner for over an hour...and when I went to bed I still could not get comfy. I put those thoughts in the back of my head about maybe am working out too hard or too much because I know that is not true. My body is re-adjusting to a good fitness routine. I just gotta press on.
I didn't feel very rested this morning and overslept a bit AGAIN! Hate when that happens, just my body telling me I need more rest...now if only I can get my head to listen...
My plans for today include working (which I am supposed to be doing NOW), after work I am going home to make a quick dinner, and then off to the high school with my daughter for the basketball game. The coach asked the band to come and play at games so they do...not ALL of them, but enough to sound good and have fun. So this is my night off from the gym and then back at it tomorrow morning.
After the game it's home to watch a bit of TV...then YES, I'll sleep! Tomorrow morning I am going to work out, then I've got a ton of chores to try to finish, including scrubbing my kitchen floor. It's the one chore I HATE more than the rest but no one else seems to want to do it. I have a haircut on Sunday morning, after my workout.
The Steelers play on Sunday, so a big part of my afternoon will be spent in front of the TV! One of my Saturday tasks is grocery shopping, and so I am searching GreenLiteBites for some healthy snack ideas for during the game. I want to make stuff TH will eat as well so this is quite a challenge. If any of you have some tailgate ideas, please toss them my way...or share them will EVERYONE!! It's playoff time so this will be important the next several weeks, at least to me!!
