Sunday...and the countdown continues!!!

14 teaching days left til my programs done!!! That sounds bad cause I actually LOVE being in the classroom, I just hate all the homework and extra work that goes along with finishing my master's degree! I'm so excited to be finished!

Okay on to the weight world. I did good this week. Well at least I think I did...although day wasn't that great. Yesterday was pretty succesful although I did eat Coldstone ice cream after my soccer game. By the way...it was about 200 degrees in the indoor park and we had no subs so I think I lost about 10 pounds in water. Speaking of water...you know your body really needs it when you drink 100 ounces and don't have to go the bathroom :(

Today was such a very very hectic day. I got up at a decent time and did a little homework and ate some oatmeal before getting ready for church. After church I went to Noah's bagels with Danielle and family and had a pizza bagel (bad bad choice...expensive and clearly unhealthy) and a banana. From there I went home for about 30 min and did some homework then drove to a nearby town for a friend's graduation party. I had dinner there (pretty healthy) and then headed back to church. After church I ran 9 miles to complete my training for the day. I was planning on doing it earlier in the day but it was so hot that it felt really good to wait. The run felt GREAT...my legs were loose and light the whole way. I let myself get a little stressed out this afternoon over all the stuff I have to do in the next month, so it just felt so so so good to run by myself for so long and just take a breather from everything. It also felt great to feel so in shape and like 9 miles is nothing!!! I remember missing that feeling for so long after I stopped running for a long time after the last marathon. Plus...still no pain in the knee or the hip! It's such a miracle! AND to top it off...last time I trained I used to get sick and couldn't eat for the rest of the day after I ran 9 miles or more and tonight when I got done I just felt great..just plain great!

After today I probably went over on flex points by 5 points...but since I never count activity points I'm hoping that it will be okay especially after tonight's big run. I get really frustrated when I'm running so much and staying on plan and don't see the pounds dumping off me. Actually they aren't really even crawling off me...they actually don't seem to be budging :( What's the problem? Last time I truly truly stuck to Core I lost 15 pounds and was NOT working out. Grrr....it's so frustating.

Okay well I'm off to bed...I'll post tomorrow. Happy Monday to all!

Great job with your running. Sounds so much fun. I plan to start the C25k program in two weeks. You know, I am telling myself now that exercise is a stress reliever so I shouldn't avoid it. Doing that last week got me to work out 3 times and lose a pound! Yeah!

A thought...do you think that with all your running your body needs more food? You mention that you don't count APs. You may want to consider counting and eating them and see if that makes a difference.
