Blog to Lose

No matter the plan... we all Blog to Lose!

My headspace has been so messed up lately. I don't know whats wrong with me, It's only like the fourth week or something like that. But I've already stopped writing my food journal. NOT SMART. I know, I only do really well when I journal and measure every bit of food. Which is what you're supposed to do, but unless I follow it to the T I falter.. I just can't get back into that headspace. I went to a white sox game on friday night, it was awesome. We walked from union station to the L, climbed a butt load of stairs and walked some more to the subway it was enough to make my calves and ankles sore for two days afterwards. But good excersize for sure. We had nosebleed seats so we were way up at the top, luckily for going up there were giant escalators, on the way down though there was only these giant ramps. I had such a great time. And Saturday my mom decided we were going shopping and she purposely parked at like the furthest parking spots. So my already sore legs were even more sore! She's evil. But she was right it was probably better that we walked the extra way for a bit of excersize.. I had a sandwhich and pretzels not to long ago and I'm sitting here going "write it down, write it down, write it down" but I have yet to reach for my pen and journal. I need my headpsace back, any ideas on how I can snap back into it? I'm willing to take suggestions!

Step back and look at how great you did with exercise. I am sure you did just as great with food and the only way to know that is to write it down. I try to look at journaling as a way to recognize how good I am doing with food, this helps me think of it as a good thing rather than a bad thing, so I am more likely to do it.

Hope this helps!
