Well I am sitting here waiting for my sisters to finish getting ready so I decided I'd briefly check in. In all honesty, I have not been keeping track of what I've been eating, but I have been sticking to my running schedule and trying to eat as close to CORE as possible. I really want to be down on Tuesday but I don't really feel like I will be. Because of having a tight budget, and the fact that we have to eat out so much I've been trying to make healthy choices but it would be a lie to say that it has always been happening.
This week I ran 4 miles on Tuesday, 4 miles on Thursday, and then I ran a 5k last night on the treadmill here in Colorado. This morning I got up and ran 6 miles outside. Even though it felt harder than usual I was really proud of how well I ran considering the HUGE altitude change and the fact that it was 78 degrees outside. ...oh oh oh plus I got a tiny bit of sun! :)
When I get home on Tuesday I think I am going to spend the next few weeks kind of playing with my diet. I have got to find a way to balance what I'm eating with all the running I'm doing. I really think my diet is lacking in protein so I am going to continue eating Core but I'm going to start making sure I get more protein....which should help my body burn fat!
Okay well I think my sisters may finally be ready so I'll update more later...probably when I get home Tuesday night.
