Borrowing a page from Roni, here's something I really need to remember:
Quick & easy does not have to equal fast food.
Sure, I went to Subway, and had a ham and turkey sub. But had I gone home after my trip to Wal-Mart, I'm sure I could have whipped up something nearly as fast and equally as tasty. Plus, I'd have saved money.
Ah well. You live and learn. Now let's just hope I don't have to keep re-learning this particular lesson. :D
Speaking of lessons, I need to learn how to stop sleeping through my alarm. I didn't get up until after 11 this morning. Of course, I didn't get to bed until something like 3 a.m., so I guess that's just about the right amount of sleep, the 8 recommended hours ...
But I absolutely hate sleeping past 9. When I sleep so late, I feel like I don't have enough time to get anything done before work. I'd much rather go home after work, get to bed by 1:30 or 2 a.m. and get up by 8 or 9. Then I can have breakfast, get to the gym, work out and run any necessary errands before I have to be at work at 3 p.m. For some reason, getting up at 10 or 11 makes me feel like I don't have time to get to the gym, etc ... even though I probably really still could.
