360 Degree Turn

So to make a loooong story short, we are no longer going to Ecuador. Last week at was going to be a consultation for my oldest sons orthodontic treatment, turned into my son is now having surgery to remove a cyst inside his gum. The oral surgeon says he has never seen one this size in a kid so small. So of course that put our trip on a screeching halt. He has to have surgery and then have 4 teeth pulled at the same time, which means he has to begin his orthodontic treatment right after that. My husband and myself don't feel comfortable having him out of the country when he will be needing follow-ups.

We believe everything happens for a reason, so we are fine with it. So now our summer will consist of theme parks, beaches and museamss.

Oh well!!!
