I didn't blog yesterday because in between being sick I had to lean my house for a house inspection.
I've been trying really hard not to turn to food when I've been sick the last few days but it's not easy at all. Without exercising and feeling healthy it's really easy to think you've failed and even though I probably haven't I feel like with just a couple of days ill and a few days not eating the right foods I've put it all on again.
Monday 16th EATING
Chocolate (2x 35 grams dark)
1 x bread with sugar
2 x slices of wholemeal toast
Orange juice
Soup with 3 slices of bread
Pasta Bake
EXERCISE
None but sleeping
Tuesday 17th EATING
Muesli with rice milk
Apple
A few mouthfuls of soup and 3 slices of bread
Pasta bake
35 grams of dark chocolate
Almost an entire loaf of garlic bread (ok so you can REALLY see where I slipped up today)
So writing it down I feel like it actually wasn't as bad as it could have been. ON past ill days when I haven't been vegan I would have happily sat at home and eaten a family size block of cadbury milk chocolate and all sorts of terrible take away food. But generally that up there isn't as bad as it could have been. yay.
The only thing I really want to focus on over the next few days is cutting down on the amount of bread i'm eating (in fact I'm going to dispose of what's left in the house AND at work so I'm not tempted). Also I want to eat a lot more vegetables.
I'm still in no fit state to be at the gym sadly. I was hoping I would have the energy to walk to work this morning but that's just not going to happen - especially now it's winter time. I'm not really sure what sort of gentle exercise I can do to get me back into things - does anyone have any ideas?
