No matter the plan... we all Blog to Lose!

POSITIVE----I finally learned how to get the weight ticker in place so that it can be viewed--phew! Negative--since my first post I have gained 5 pounds-obviously not my goal here. Startting today I had to get the journal out again and start tracking all of my points because that is the only option. POSITIVE---now that the sun is shining my family spends a lot of time playing in our backyard, especially on the weekends NEGATIVE-- the husband and I like to relax and have some beers while out in the backyard, and at 2-3 points each the points can add up quickly. By the time dinner rolls around I have very few points left (after breakfast, lunch, and beer) then when I have blown my points for the day I just stop tracking for the entire weekend. Yes I know the very best answer is to ditch the beer or buy low cal beer (too expensive for this budget) but it is hard to do when the husband is not on the same page. Maybe this weekend I may try nonalcoholic beer--I wonder how many points they are?

I can't help you much, because I'm not a beer person. When my Boyfriend drinks beer, I very rarely have a glass (or can) ... I'd rather save my Points for something i enjoy (like chocolate!) Have you tried subbing some other alcoholic beverage for the beer? Or even a non-alcoholic one? When the husband drinks beer, you could treat yourself to iced tea or diet soda ...
