Getting back on track

This week was sort of a disaster eating wise. We had leftover desserts that I kept snacking on, and the husband and I went out on a date last night...I made the mistake of over-indulging and eating WAY too many nachos supreme from Macayo's...it must have been the large margarita that made me lose willpower! However, today is a new day and I am vowing to THROW OUT any foods that are "trigger" foods for me- chips/sweets. I mowed the lawn this morning and swam a few laps in the pool after to cool off. Boy, swimming makes me realize what a great workout it is! I think I might try to swim laps after the kids go down at night to get some relaxing exercise in. Today I swam 3 laps and I was out of breath. Tomorrow I will try to add another! Hope you all are having a fabulous Thursday!!!

Great job with the exercise! Add in more laps slowly to build your stamina. I had to throw out the "trigger" stuff too, and now it is hard to overeat healthy foods when I need a snack!

Swimming is a GREAT exercise...it works so many of your smaller muscles and involves your entire body! Nighttime swimming sounds like a fun and relaxing idea!

swimming is the best out there.. wish we had our own pool..
