Blog to Lose

No matter the plan... we all Blog to Lose!

It was pretty fun. Odd story, though... the instructor didn't show up. Apparently, though, this was an "intermediate" class and someone had an iPod routine they plugged in and away we went.

I suppose I shouldn't have stayed since I technically didn't know what I was doing, but I'm glad I did anyway. I mimicked the ones in front of me and listened carefully to how to hold my back and neck. I've watched yoga on TV before and I've been practicing a few moves. Actually, at the end several people asked me how I liked it and were surprised when I said I'd never done it before.

I feel pretty good now! I will certainly try this again. :)

Today was a strange day. I just didn't feel hungry and also didn't want to work out. I thought about going to the gym later in the afternoon, but knew I'd have to eat more if I exercise...which I didn't want to do. Weird, huh. So, trying yoga was a good compromise. Eating was good today, even with not wanting to.

I have always been intrigued by yoga and should probably put it into practice. Maybe beginner's yoga will be something that can allow me to make a smooth, relaxing transition into getting movement into my daily life. Kudos on sticking it out through that class, I don't know that I could gracefully transition from pose to pose without experience.

I tried yoga once in gym class, and let me tell you I applaud anyone that can do it. I was like dying trying to stretch in all those position. So in my book you rock for being able to do it.

Nice job with the yoga! Especially trying it without a real instructor there. I've always wanted to try pilates but yoga looks like a good workout while being relaxing at the same time... who knew such a combination could exist!

I got a chance to try Yoga with an instructor last night and had a great time. It is great for deepening your breath and building core strength...all of which will improve walking. I really want to find a class that I can fit into my schedule. How goes the training?
