
Perhaps the key to a healthy body is a healthy mind? I've been feeling so blah and down this summer. Diet's shot to hell, gym is on for a week off for a week. It's a whole lot of growing in the wrong direction.
I went last Fri for a pedicure. I hadn't been for one in almost a year. It's amazing what a vibrating foot soak tub can do for a girl. They literally DID 'peel back the layers' on my feet.
After a delightful 2 hours I came out with smooth soft feet and bright shiny pink toes.
This carried into the next day when we were off to the city and I did a wee bit of shopping. Gaining weight back means fewer clothes fit me and the one which fit me are not feel good clothes. So I picked up a half dozen badly needed items, a couple of items to lift the girls back up where they belong.
It's made a difference in the self esteem...in the drive to want to do things..in the desire to make a change happen.
I like this. Sadly I can't get new toes and shop til I drop everyday so I shall have to ride this positive wave and see if I can get back on the wagon....errrr..........surfboard.
