I am so off track that not only did I get run over by the train, but I also fell off the wagon, got run over by it, then it dumped a load of turnips on my head!
I have not exercised since last THURSDAY! As of the scale this morning, I am up 11 pounds from my lowest weight! I actually made the walk of shame TWICE yesterday and bought COOKIES!! My body was craving crunch and sugar so bad that I could not help myself!! I had a Coke on Monday, of all things! I am having HUGE food issues! Gigantic, enormous food issues!! The very thought of cooked spinach or cooked zucchini makes me want to hurl! These were my staples!! I don't like vegetables, so how the heck am I supposed to get them in if I gag with my staples??
I am tired all the time, no matter how much sleep I get. I'm not feeling very well. I'm always thirsty. The entire thing is depressing the heck out of me, especially since I just bought my wedding dress! AUGH!
And to top it all off, this morning I can't find the connector for my iPod so that I can track my run today!
So today, what have I done so far? I've stayed perfectly ON PLAN! Yes, yes, I have. I've eaten what my doctor said I should eat for breakfast (Breakstones low-fat cottage cheese with cut up frozen peaches. I added some honey, but I don't know yet if it's really okay to do that). I had my mug of tea with sugar-free french vanilla coffeemate liquid and honey. For lunch I have chicken breast with a side of pesto spaghetti squash with mushrooms and feta cheese.
I will be working out with my trainer at 2pm and discussing food more with her in the process as well as what I can be doing workout wise (should I do cardio every day? Should I run every day? Should I take a break and only do cardio every other day? etc.).
For dinner I'm planning on baking some chicken and making some sort of baked acorn squash/butternut squash/red potato concoction with a salad on the side of baby greens.
This weekend we're going camping in Austin to do a work weekend with some friends on a project and I'm hoping my DF will be good with me grilling our dinners instead of us going out. I have the grilling cookbook, so I really should just pick out a few recipes and use them over the weekend.
I really need to get back in the swing of things. I feel /horrible/ right now. I'm tired, I feel like I should go lay down, but I'm not sick. I don't have any energy. I'm borderline weepy and just totally out of it. I keep trying to remember what I was doing when I lost 23 pounds earlier in the year and I just can't seem to wrap my head around it. One little slipup (or a few in this case) seem to totally put me in reverse when it comes to me and weightloss, and it's so frustrating!
I'm very concerned that, once I reach my goal weight, I won't be able to keep it off because I'll want a Coke when I go out once a week or a cookie at the monthly birthday party in my office.
Let me put it this way:
AUGH!!

I'll be interested to hear what your trainer says about cardio and how often...and with your cravings and fatigue I can't help but ask...is there something else happening???
I just went through a 2 week period where I weighted myself daily and didn't see the scale budge for days and days until two ro three days before that last weigh in...very frustrating, to the point of tears because I was doing everything right...the food, the water, the workouts.
As for Coke...can't you go diet?...or Coke zero??...I started diet sodas when I was diagnosed as diabetic a few years ago, and don't miss the regular ones at all. In fact, I don't like them at all!
Abd cookies...find a good crunchy sweet low point version of one you especially like! For me it's chewy and sweet that gets me....crunchy goes with salty for me! And if I crave both I have a spoonful of peanut butter! Takes care of the salty and sweet at once...and chunky PB takes care of crunch!
Grilling your food while camping is a great idea...and you can do foil packets on the campfire too...just make a pocket of heavy duty foil and put your protein and veggies in it...roast over fire maybe 30 minutes (turning of course) and you have a whole meal in one packet. We camp and the whole family loves them..plus, everyone can have something different if they prefer...chicken for one, burger for another, or fish, sausage...whatever you like...add some diced taters, or sweet potatoes, carrots, spinach, squash...tomato...any veggie you want!!...a bit of seasoning, maybe a spray of no-stick stuff...and go!
I am having trouble with energy myself lately, but mostly due to too little sleep! if you are tired, take a nap...don't think that you can't be tired if you aren't sick, it just isn't true.
One more thing - FORGIVE YOURSELF for slipping up, no matter how many times or how bad, and move ahead!!!
