Blog to Lose

No matter the plan... we all Blog to Lose!

So after my post yesterday about how great I've been at turning down my crazy TOM cravings, I totally caved last night!!!! I wanted Mexican for dinner where I ate chips and salsa until my Chicken Fajita salad came where I proceeded to eat the whole thing (at least it wasn't in one of those fried bowls)...then ate some more chips and salsa while we waited on the check!! It was all so yummy and I just couldn't stop eating it even though I was full!

Then last night I was in search of a sweet snack and saw my husband's Pop Tarts in the pantry. He is not supposed to keep those in the house...he's supposed to bring them to work with him, because even though they are the Reduced Fat kind, they are still 4 freaking points PER POP TART and who eats just one. So let's just say that was NOT what I needed to see at that moment, because I HAD to eat them. I have a weakness for pop tarts and there was no willpower to stop me last night.

So today I'm moving on....at least I have personal training tonight, so if it's anything like Tuesdays workout (where I burned in excess of 1,000 calories!!!), then I should be okay! I haven't had any insane cravings today like I was yesterday so that has to be a good sign! Now to figure out what I want for lunch...the lean cuisine sitting in my work fridge, or head out to lunch with a friend.....

I think we all have days like that. I was the same way at book club last night. I just kept snacking because it all tasted so good.

I haven't even checked out the nutritional facts on any of those Pop-Tarts, because I know I'd eat way too many. In college, I used to have a 2-pack of Pop-Tarts with a Dr Pepper for breakfast in that first class of the day.

Wow, this seems to be a syndrome now...there were a lot of bad nights last night...all you can do is own it and move on and it sounds like you have done both already, so great job!

As for the pop tarts...
I'm a full fat strawberry frosted girl myself.

Yum, I love pop tarts too! Your gym session will make up for it and I wouldn't worry about it too much! Hopefully you if you went to lunch you were able to find a healthier option to eat. Keep up the hard work, you are doing great at this maintaining stuff!

totally understand ....I don't allow Pop Tarts in my house! I just can't keep my hands off of them!
